Here goes...5 top places on my "want to see or want to see again" list....
5. The Silverdale/Seattle Washington area...Eli was born in Washington state. The area is beautiful. The best time to go is Aug or Sept. There is so much to see and do. It is a trip that I would say you must take.
4. The DC area again. I would love to take a trip with the boys and share the sights and history with them. Having a degree in Social Science, it would be a trip that I would love to share with Eli and Micah.
3. The Bad Lands/Mt Rushmore...I have never been and would love to see the area.
2. Grand Canyon...again never been. Had hoped to be able to go while living on the West Coast but never made it.
1. And finally...the smiles of Eli and Micah. I love to see their eyes light up and the grins on their faces when they are happy or accomplish something new.
Here you go Halley, Christy, Tammy, Rachel and David. Let see what you guys have to say.

Pictures of the boys caption
My computer decided to act up as I was uploading the pictures. So while I got the pictures up I could not type anything. The first picture was our Christmas card. The next just a really good shot of Micah. The one of the boys together they are dressed in outsits that my sister Rachael bought for them. Thanks Aunt Ray Ray. The other two are from the trip to the circus the first weekend in December. We had so much fun. Hope you all enjoy. More pictures later.

A step and a cut
Micah took a step tonight! Eli and I were writing numbers in a book he got for christmas and Mom was sitting in the floor. Micah was leaning on my leg and took a step toward Mom to get a toy she was holding. He reached the couch before taking another. We tried to get him to take another step but he would not let go for anything. I am not sure if he liked the way the step felt. He is getting so big. I am not sure if I am ready for this milestone.
Eli got a haircut today. He sat so still, just like always. He loves Ms. Dana. He looked so big today after this cut. I dont know if it was just that it had been six weeks since the last cut or if it is just that my little man is growing up. Maybe a little of both

Christmas....finally!
This has been the craziest end to a year that I can ever remember. Thanksgiving was here before I turned around and then December marched right on in. My parents do a Christmas Open House each December for the members at church and the community. This one was busier since we had moved back in the house after the remodel in June. Things did not fit in the same place due to a change in the layout of the house and that threw Mom. Having two grandkids living with her also helped add to a slower prep time than normal. Everything went well and we had a great turnout although it was one of the first times it had rained in a long time that night.
With the open house behind us, we had 10 days till Christmas. Although most of my shopping was done, there are still so many things to be done. Wrapping the gifts, planning when you will be with everyone and trying to get a trip to see Santa in. Micah cried so much but the pictures were wonderful. Good job Christy! Eli was timed at first but warmed enough to have a great picture made. Again, good job Christy!
Christmas was good but so busy, I dont really remember the day. Which I hate some since it was Micah's first. Have lots of pictures though. Which I will try to post this week. No promise. Santa brought Eli a guitar. He loves it. He was so fun opening gifts. He was in no hurry. In fact that morning when I went in to wake him he told me "No, I sleep longer and open later." Each gift was opened, he waited for it to be taken out of the box and then played about 5-10 mins with each before he would open the next. At 6pm, he was still opening gifts from the morning. Micah was more interested in what Eli got than opening his gifts. Next year will be different.
I have lots more to share but more to do in the house before bed time. Hopefully now that the holidays are over I will be able to type more.
